NY Yankees Stadium Trip

Brother Baseball Fans,

I have brought up the idea of another baseball trip this fall at our last meeting. This year, so as not to miss out, we are trying to get to Yankee Stadium in it’s final year!! Last year’s trip to Chicago was excellent and a good time was had by all. We had originally planned to go to New York over Labor Day weekend, but it seems that date is in conflict with some of our most loyal travelers. So, now we are proposing going on the weekend of September 13 and 14. The Tampa Bay Devil Rays will be in town and this might be a fun series to see. Right now, we are planning to leave the Friday sometime in the afternoon, and go to Saturday and Sundays game at 1:00 pm and leave to come home Sunday night. Cost for the tickets is $65.00 per game, and the plane fare and hotel accommodations will run around $700.00 to $750.00.

I will try to get tickets to the game for everyone, but I need to have firm commitments from at least 8 people by July 25. We have a few New Yorkers in our council who can guide us as to what to do in the Big Apple when we are there.

Please e-mail me or call me to confirm ASAP.

Thanks,

Your Brother Knight,

Tom Wissert
